It’s a Wonderful Life

It’s Christmas eve and I just watched “It’s a Wonderful Life” for the umpteenth time.

I love that movie…

It makes me smile when Clarence, the “wingless angel” says: “Strange, isn’t it? Each man’s life touches so many other lives. When he isn’t around he leaves an awful hole, doesn’t he?”

And I still tear up at the end, when the town comes together to help George Bailey out of his $8,000 jam.

Life is a bunch of moments strung together, and so are movies.

My favorite moments are worth reliving from time to time.

But there’s nothing as satisfying as creating new ones.

I can explain it to you, but I can’t understand it for you.

Clarity of thought and speech are vitally important today. Some days are better than others for me, but clarity is always on my mind.

People lose interest if you’re not clear about your intentions

• Customers don’t buy if your presentation is not clear

• Marketing doesn’t work, if you message is not clearly defined.

• You fight with your wife, if you’re not clear about what you mean.

• Kids get mixed messages, if your communication is not right on.

• There’s only a 50% chance your order will be correct at a fast food drive thru – even if you speak clearly.

Clarity is your best option, all the time.

I can’t state it any clearer than that. I hope you understand…

You’ll excuse me for using a caricature of myself as the “blog mascot”. I’ve always had trouble holding my head up straight (ask my mother),, and finding sunglasses to fit on my humongous head…

But… I do know how to get a point across.
