If you can’t Convince ’em, Confuse ’em

President Harry Truman said this about his Republican opponent in his 1948 presidential run.

It was recently expanded to: “If you can’t Convince ’em, Confuse ’em: and if you can’t Confuse ’em, Scare ’em.

in 2018, 70 years later, this old political phrase is unfortunately working too well.

It’s substance is repeated endlessly every day on the news and social media.

Huge crowds are chanting mindless phrases and for the life of me, I don’t know whether they are confused -or- scared.

I suspect a bit of both.

As for me, I’m just trying to work hard and make a living, care for my family and friends, and have some fun along the way.

Which means I’m already confused and a little scared everyday, without this political insanity…

Just sayin’ …

DIETING, THE “D” WORD

The “D” word is the most discussed subject in my office. Both women and men have long, drawn-out discussions about “D”

The “D” word means thought, guilt, planning, self-loathing, anxiety, uncomfortable conversations, doing without,  exercise and hunger…

As the boss, I feel their pain, but why can’t they talk more about “W”? (WORK)

Anyway, I’ve been gaining and losing the same 10 lbs myself for the past 10 years.

My goal is to get back to my ORIGINAL weight:

9lbs,10 oz….
